Cecilie has worked as a feature- and column writer and photographer at the South China Morning Post, as a Cantonese radio presenter at Radio Television Hong Kong as well as making hundreds of podcasts and language videos and travel documentaries.

After 30 years in China/Hong Kong where she ran Happy Jellyfish People’s Democratic Language Bureau specialising in making Cantonese a world language with the slogan “Learn Cantonese the Natural Way – from a Norwegian!” Cecilie’s life mission as a “Cantonese Fundamentalist” was to make the whole world speak Cantonese. She now lives in Palma de Mallorca with her two dogs, enjoying fresh air and architectural beauty.
